The Ministry of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska has invited bids for a concession to develop and operate the Trusina wind farm near Nevesinje. The project is planned with a capacity of up to 50 MW. It is expected to generate around 160 GWh of electricity annually.
Total investment for the Trusina project is estimated at €66.5 million. The concession initiative was submitted by local company SDL Energy. The tender sets out requirements for bidders to demonstrate specific capabilities and documentation.
Concession scope, grid connection and power sales
The successful bidder will be responsible for securing grid connection in line with technical conditions set by the system operator. All electricity generated by the wind farm will be sold on the market. The concession can be granted for a period of up to 50 years from the date the concession agreement is signed.
Fees and ongoing payments linked to generation
Financial obligations include a one-off concession fee of approximately €330,000. In addition, the concession involves an ongoing payment of €0.0027 per kilowatt-hour of electricity generated. These payments are tied to the operation of the wind farm and its output.
Bidder eligibility and feasibility study requirements
Applicants must demonstrate their legal, technical and financial capacity to carry out the project. They must also confirm that they are not subject to bankruptcy or criminal proceedings. Bidders are required to submit a feasibility study showing the economic viability of the proposed wind farm.
