Croatia’s JANAF lifts nine-month profit 5.7% to €35.2 million

In Croatia, oil pipeline operator JANAF raised net profit by 5.7% year on year to €35.2 million in the first nine months of 2026, supported by higher crude transportation revenue from international customers. Total revenue increased 6.2% to €102.4 million.

Oil transportation and storage generated €96.6 million, around 4.8% above plan. International customers contributed €68.3 million, or 70.7% of core revenue; revenue from foreign markets grew 10.2% from the same period in 2025 and exceeded plan by 5.2%.

Costs and domestic revenue

Revenue from the domestic market reached €28.3 million. Operating expenses rose 6.1% to €59.2 million, reflecting higher staff, material and electricity costs.

Growth in JANAF’s international transport business offset the higher cost base and lifted profitability.
