Hungary, The average price of electricity on HUPX amounted to 135.1 euros/MWh in September

The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 135.1 euros/MWh in September 2021, which is 24 % higher compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 109.02 euros/MWh.

Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 143.81 euros/MWh in September, 25 % higher compared to August peak price. Traded volume on the day-ahead market reached 2.33 million MWh, which is 5 % less than in August (2.44 million MWh) and 16.5 % more than in September 2020 (2 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in September amounted to 77,701 MWh.

Traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 268,436 MWh in September 2021, which is 26 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 8,948 MWh.
