Bulgaria: On IBEX DAM daily traded volume record reached

A new record daily traded volume on the day-ahead market was achieved. This was announced by the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX). For the delivery day of 8 December, the total traded volume of electricity was 69,823.8 MWh, with an average hourly load of 2,909.3 МW. IBEX has started electricity trading on 19 January 2016. It was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), later on acquired by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, and was developed in partnership with Nord Pool Spot. Intraday trading segment started on 11 April 2018.
