Slovenia household and industrial power prices ease slightly in Q1 2026

Data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia show that household electricity prices were set at €0.208/kWh in the first quarter of 2026. In the same period, household natural gas prices stood at €0.085/kWh. Compared with the final quarter of 2025, both electricity and gas prices fell by 1%.

For industrial customers, the average electricity price in Q1 2026 reached €0.149/kWh, excluding VAT. This level corresponds to a 2% quarter-on-quarter decrease. The industrial electricity figure reflects a change relative to the preceding quarter.

Industrial natural gas pricing unchanged

Industrial natural gas prices remained at €0.055/kWh in Q1 2026, excluding VAT. The price was unchanged compared with Q4 2025. This indicates no quarter-on-quarter movement for industrial gas costs over the period covered by the data.

Taken together, the figures point to a pricing environment in Slovenia’s energy market that is stable overall, with small downward adjustments for electricity costs. Household energy prices eased slightly, while industrial gas pricing stayed flat across the two quarters referenced in the statistics.
