Local pellet producer Eko Step Pellet has commissioned 1 MW rooftop solar power plant at its plant in Petrovac na Mlavi.
The statement from the Government of Serbia said that the commissioning of the solar power plant will mark the start of new, sustainable operation of the company. It added that the share of renewable energy sources in total electricity generation in Serbia is around 24 %, with hydropower plants having the largest share (20 %), while wind, solar and biomass are accounted for remaining 4 %.
