The total value of day-ahead market transactions amounted to €143.3 million in July, rising 21.76% from €117.7 million in June and 5.88% from €135.4 million a year earlier. According to the market report, day-ahead trading accounted for 30.34% of forecast net electricity consumption in July 2025.

Trading activity on the intraday market reached 138,685.7 MWh, increasing 18.14% from the previous month but falling 27.3% compared with July 2025. The average intraday price was €102.57/MWh, down 29.2% from June but 2.75% above the level recorded a year earlier.

The July results point to higher trading activity compared with the previous month, despite the decline in average electricity prices. At the same time, the year-on-year drop in both day-ahead and intraday volumes indicates weaker market activity compared with July 2025.
