Serbia's EPS Launches 1.6 Mln Euro HPP – Vranje Municipality

 

 

Serbian state-owned power utility EPS has launched a 1.6 million euro ($2.1 million) small hydro power plant (SHPP) in the local municipality of Vranje, the municipality said on Thursday.

The SHPP will produce 2.5 million to 3.0 million kilowatt-hours of the electricity per year, the municipality said in a statement on its website.

Vranje is located in southern Serbia.
