Serbia: GazpromNeft interested in Petrohemija privatization

Russian company GazpromNeft, a majority owner of Serbian oil company NIS, is interested in participating in the privatization process of Serbian petrochemical complex HIP-Petrohemija.
Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksanadar Antic met with GazpromNeft’s Board Chairman Alexander Dyukov in Saint Petersburg and discussed the upcoming privatization process of HIP-Petrohemija.
Minister Antic said that the future of the company is of utmost importance and it needs a strategic partner to provide investments that will enable long-term stable operation of Petrohemija. Dyukov said that GazpromNeft is generally interested in participating in privatization, adding that talks with Serbian Government on finding the exact model of privatization will be intensified.
