Hungary: Traded electricity on HUPX in October

In October 2020 on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX the average price of electricity amounted to 39.35 euros/MWh, which is 13.97 % lower compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 45.74 euros/MWh.

Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 45.39 euros/MWh in October, 8.75 % lower compared to September peak price. Traded volume in October reached 2.13 million MWh, which is 6.66 % more than in September (2 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in October amounted to 68,872.7 MWh. The total value of transactions in October amounted to 84.41 million euros, which is 8.14 % lower than in the previous month (91.89 million euros).
