Fully integrated regional SEE power market, the countries of the region could become very attractive for traders and for investors, Mr. Claus Urbanke Head of New Markets Statkraft Markets GmbH

Energy market in Region of South East Europe/Balkans is realizing the project of energy market reform and harmonization with EU recommendations managed by regional EU initiative Energy Community. Many positive experiences from other regional markets could be transferred and used to speed up the process. Integrated region will become more attractive for investors and traders with market coupling which is expected to be completed by 2015.

Serbia Energy Magazine spoke with Mr.Urbanke from Statkraft Markets who is one of the key speakers at upcoming Energy Trading CEE/SEE which will take place in Prague on 13-14june.
