A total of 612,779 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP Southpool in April 2019, which is a 7.8 % decrease compared to the previous month, with an average of 20,426 MWh/day.
Average daily base price on day-ahead market in April amounted to 45.61 euros/MWh, which is a 15.3 % increase compared to March, while aver-age euro-peak price reached 48.77 euros/MWh (+ 12.6 %).
Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 29,710 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction (MI2 + MI6) in April 2019, with an average price of 46.76 euros/MWh (MI2) and 51.94 euros/MWh (MI6).
