Serbia: Gastrans published a call for expression of interest in gas pipeline capacity reservation

Gastrans has published a public call for the submission of non-binding bids for the reservation of the capacity of the new pipeline, which will go through Serbia, connecting the national transport systems of Bulgaria and Hungary.

The aim of the public call is to enable all interested parties to submit non-binding bids for the exploitation of the future pipeline, based on which Gastrans will decide on the feasibility of the construction of the pipeline. The deadline for the submission of non-binding bids is 15 April 2018, and the final results will be published by the end of April. The commercial operation of the pipeline is expected to start on 1 October, 2019, but this date is subject to change.

The current gas pipeline project envisages an entry point at the Serbian-Bulgarian border (location in the territory of Zajecar municipality) and four exit points: one near Paracin, one near Pancevo, one near Gospodjinci in Zabalj municipality and one on the Serbian-Hungarian border (location near Horgos in the territory of Kanjiza municipality).
