Company Hidroelektrane na Vrbasu” A.D. has announced a tender for selection of contractor for construction works on the hydro power pant “Bočac 2” on the river Vrbas.
Estimated value of construction works is 8.5MEUR.
Hydro power plant “Bočac 2” will be built on the compensation lake of hydro power plant “Bočac” and will have ten megawatts of installed capacity which classifies it as mini hydro power plant.
According to earlier announcements, the total construction costs of the hydro power plant will be around 20MEUR, and “Hidroelektrane na Vrbasu” A.D. will finance it from their own resources.
As announced, the hydro power plant should start working by the end of 2016.
