Local company Green Energy Investment plans to build a 195 MW solar park near Nikšić. The dolar plant will cover an area totalling 228 hectares.
The investor has submitted to the Environmental Agency the application for a decision on the necessity of preparing an environmental impact assessment (EIA) study for the project.
According to the application, the location is exceptionally favourable for the construction of the solar power plant due to the mild winters in this area with very little snow, especially in the last decade. The location receives solar radiation of 1,420 kWh/m2.
