Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in May 2023 rose by 23% compared to last month, to 704 GWh. In gross electricity production, hydropower plants participated with 58%, thermal power plants with 37% and wind farms with 5% share.
Net electricity production reached 671 GWh. 405 GWh was produced in hydropower plants, 233 GWh in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 33 GWh. Electricity imports amounted to 61 GWh, in May 2023 compared to 23 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 149 GWh, compared to 180 GWh last May.
