Croatia: Two new project deals signed by Dalekovod

In Sweden, Croatian Dalekovod Group announced that it has signed contracts for two important projects with distribution operator Evelio and the Swedish electricity transmission system operator Svenska Kraftnat. The total value of all works on both projects is more than 14.5 million euros.

The first contract envisages the construction of 12 kilometers of a new double circuit 130 kV transmission line between the Tovasen and Bodmyran substations, along the route of the existing 130 kV transmission line. The works includes the demolition of the old transmission line on wooden poles and the reconstruction of the existing transmission line in the length of 1 kilometers. Works are expected to begin in February this year, and should be completed in August 2022.

The second project includes the reconstruction of four existing 400 kV transmission lines and one 220 kV transmission line around the new substation. The project consists of a main part and two potential additional parts. The final scope of the project will be defined in March this year, while the start is expected for May 2022 and for the end in 2023.
