In November 2020, on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX), a total of 1,595,242 MWh of electricity was traded which is 10.9 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume in November amounted to 53,174.7 MWh. Traded volume in November 2020 was 101.4 % higher compared to the same month last year. The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in November amounted to 47.69 euros/MWh, which is 10.5 % higher compared to October (43.16 euros/MWh), while average peak price was 55.44 euros/MWh (+ 16.2 %). There were a total of 81 registered participants on the IBEX day-ahead market, the same as in the previous month. Regarding intraday market, a total of 68,986 MWh (- 30.3 %) was traded, with the average weighted price of 52.86 euros/MWh (+ 20.6 %).
