According to data published by Albanian Energy Corporation KESH, after the gradual improvement of the hydrological situation in the past few weeks, the water level at the reservoir of hydropower plant Fierza, the largest HPP within the Drin cascade, has the elevation of reached 277 meters.
On the other hand, the water level at HPP Koman accumulation has been reduced to 171 meters, which is a slight decrease compared to a few days ago, which shows that electricity generation is mainly supported by HPP Koman and HPP Vau i Dejes.
Average daily production of the Drim cascade amounts to 6,450 MWh and covers less than a third of the country’s electricity consumption, while the reserve is estimated at 673.7 GWh.
