Construction of the pipeline “South Stream” through Serbia could start in 2012 If a final investment decision for the project is made by the end of the year, said general manager of ‘’Srbijagas” Dusan Bajatovic
He said that very soon, Serbia will establish a subsidiary company for the pipeline project “South Stream” .
Bajatovic, at the press conference, said that the length of the pipeline through Serbia will be 400 kilometers and its capacity will be slightly less than 40 billion cubic meters of gas per year, and that the estimated value for the section of the pipeline through Serbia 1.38 billion Euros.
The director of “Srbijagas”, however, said that these parameters could also be slightly higher.
The project “South Stream” perhaps is not going pace of which its investors would like, but that route will definitely be built as it is built and the “South Stream” added Bajatovic.
