In February 2021, a total of 717,851 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP Southpool, which is a 3.1 % decrease compared to the previous month, with an average of 25,638 MWh/day. Traded volume was 1.8 % higher compared to February 2020. Average daily base price on day-ahead market in February amounted to 50.37 euros/MWh, which is a 12.5 % decrease compared to January, while average euro-peak price reached 57.5 euros/MWh (- 13.8 %). Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 113,060 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction in February 2020, od which 90,994 on the continuous market (- 5.5 %), with an average price of 66.93 euros/MWh (MI2) and 53.06 euros/MWh (MI6).
