Serbia: Public inspection begins for Snaga Istoka wind farm project

The Detailed Regulation Plan (DRP) for the Snaga Istoka wind farm in the municipality of Bor, eastern Serbia, is now available for public inspection, marking a significant step toward the realization of this 300 MW project.

The investor behind the project is the local company Snaga Istoka, which is predominantly owned by the Bosnian firm Lager, which acquired an 80% stake in June of this year. The wind farm will consist of 46 wind turbines and will span over 2,700 hectares.

According to Lager, construction is anticipated to begin in late 2025. In addition, last year, Lager acquired two companies with solar projects in Bosanski Petrovac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, totaling an installed capacity of 150 MW from the German company Promondis Energy.
