Acting Director of EPS, Serbian state-owned power utility Milorad Grcic said at the opening ceremony that this substation will increase the security of supply for both residential and industrial consumers in this part of the country.
EPS has commissioned 35/10 kV substation Cucuge within the industrial zone of the town of Ub.
Grcic also said that construction works on nearby 110/35 kV substation are almost completed, adding that EPS has invested over 4.5 million euros in these two substations, as well as around 8 million euros in the construction of more than 84 kilometers of low-voltage transmission lines.
