SEE region: Spot prices on Monday range from 97 to 112 euros per MWh

 

On Monday, June 26, the spot prices of electricity in Southeast Europe increased by 35 to 50 percent compared to Sunday.

The lowest price of electricity in the region was recorded in Serbia, where the average price increased on Monday by 35% compared to the previous day, to 97.4 euros per MWh.

In most regional markets, wholesale electricity prices were slightly above this level. Price on Monday amounts to 99.9 euros per MWh in Bulgaria and Romania, 104.9 euros per MWh in Greece, 108.5 euros per MWh in Croatia, 108.1 euros per MWh in Slovenia and 112 euros per MWh in Hungary.

The Polish market is the most expensive European market on Monday, with 160.4 euros per MWh. The lowest price was recorded in Norway – 66.4 euros per MWh.
