Romania had 110,355 prosumers by the end of 2023, with an installed capacity of 1,442 MW, according to data provided by the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE).
Last year, there were over 110,000 prosumers. Among them, 95,205 were individuals who collectively installed capacities totalling 611.45 MW. Additionally, over 15,000 companies installed capacities totalling 831.39 MW during the same period.
Ilfov was the county with the most prosumers (8,536), with an installed capacity of 111 MW, followed by Timis, with 6,007 prosumers with an installed capacity of 81.89 MW.
