Romania: Hidroelectrica completed the acquisition of UCM Resita

Romanian company Hidroelectrica announces the successful completion of the transaction regarding the acquisition of the business of manufacturing and commercializing hydro units and auxiliary equipment, as well as providing specialized rehabilitation services, improvement, and technical assistance in the energy sector, related to the ABC platform and partially to the Calnicel platform owned by UCM Resita (UCMR).

The completion of the transaction was made following the fulfilment of the conditions precedent from the Framework Agreement concluded on 8 December 2023, between UCMR and Hidroelectrica, and the completion of all formalities for the transaction.

The acquisition cost amounts to 13.7 million euros.
