Romania: Chinese company to sell its solar power plant to a local company

The sale of the solar power plant, located in Izvin in Timis county, is in line with the Chinese group’s strategic plan for quick optimization. Chinese group Jiangsu Zhongli said that it has signed an agreement to sell a 6 MW solar power plant in Romania to local company Alive Energy for some 1.85 million euros.

The sale and purchase agreement was signed through Talesun Solar Switzerland AG and Talesun Solar Bucharest, two units of Jiangsu Zhongli’s subsidiary Talesun Solar.

Zhongli Group, founded in 1988, mainly engages in manufacturing of optical cables, power and communication cables, solar cells and their components, as well as in the investment, construction and operation of solar power plants.

Romanian company Alive Energy was established in 2018.
