Reservoir metals interested in gold processing in Bor

Reservoir Metals, Canada’s company engaged in non-ferrous metals processing, is the third company to express interest in processing metals from Coka Marin gold mine near Majdanpek, people at Mining Smelter Basin (RTB) Bor announced.

The interest in processing that ore, which is comprised of gold, copper, silver and harmful metals, has also expressed by Swiss companies Glencore and Trafigure.

As RTB announced, the Canadian company’s letter of intent reads that it is ready to collaborate with other mines as well, one of which is Borska Reka.

Reservoir Minerals is also interested in co-investing in specific development projects identified by RTB, said people at RTB.

Canada’s Reservoir Minerals is one of the two companies formed as a result of the reorganization of the corporation Reservoir Capital, the reason for which was the formation of a separate research company that will focus on the mining sector in Serbia.

According to the company’s release, Reservoir Minerals is also interested in renewable energy sources, which is why it is already working on development projects for Brodarevo 1 and 2 hydroelectric power plants on the Lim river in Serbia.
