Region: Day ahead price on Friday of 156-247 euros per MWh

The day before, delivery prices on Friday, April 8, 2022, on electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe ranged from 156.72 euros per MWh in Bulgaria to 246.95 euros per MWh in Greece.

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX on Friday increased by about 20 euros compared to Thursday, to 181.05 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian, Romanian and Hungarian markets were not flooded on Friday. The Bulgarian price was reduced by about 11 euros, to 156.72 euros per MWh.

The Romanian price is 159.17 euros per MWh, which is 9 euros less than the previous day, while the Hungarian day-ahead price was reduced by about 6 euros, to 162.14 euros per MWh.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Friday amounted to 211.89 euros per MWh and increased by over 50 euros compared to Thursday.

The Greek price increased by about 17 euros, to 246.95 euros per MWh on Friday.

According to EPEX SPOT, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Friday range from 96.98 euros per MWh in Poland to 248.11 euros per MWh in France.
