Reconstruction of Hydro power plants on Drina river

 

Hydro power plant “Bajina Bašta”, connected the second modernized turbine which concluded the first half of big investment cycle and modernization of this hydro power plant. The project allowed the security and increase of electricity production.  

Complete modernization of the facility in total value of 19 milion euros will be completed in 2013, the modernization will prolong the life period of the plant for next 30-40 years. The maintenance costs will be decreased and necessary level of environmental protection will be reached.

Total output power will be increased for 26 mw which equals the power of one mini hydro power plant.
