Polish renewables developer R.Power secures €12.4 million financing for first solar projects in Romania

Polish renewable energy developer R.Power has successfully secured €12.4 million in project financing to support the development of its first solar projects in Romania, with a planned total capacity of 23 MW. The financing was arranged through Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.

This agreement marks a significant step in R.Power’s international growth strategy and is its second project finance deal outside Poland. Earlier this year, the company also secured a loan to fund its portfolio of large-scale solar projects in Portugal.

Construction on R.Power’s Romanian solar portfolio, which includes four project sites, commenced in December 2024.
