In 2021 the price of electricity in Montenegro will not be changed. This was said by the state-owned power utility EPCG. The company did not exercise its legal right to determine new price for the coming year.
EPCG reminded that the price of electricity for households and small commercial consumers depend solely on the freely formed supplier prices, with legally defined restrictions related to the price on the reference HUPX electricity exchange. As a supplier, EPCG is obliged to provide electricity and regularly supply all customers at regulated prices which are much lower than market ones.
