Montenegro, EPCG signed the contract for HPP Krusevo project

Montenegrin state-owned power utility EPCG and a consortium consisting of Serbian Jaroslav Cerni Water Institute, Swiss company Gruner Stucky and its Serbian subsidiary Gruner Balkans have signed a contract for the development of a feasibility study for hydropower plant Krusevo project.

According to the contract, the consortium will carry out all tasks related to the development of a study on hydro potential of the Piva river downstream from the existing HPP Piva, with the development of a software platform for the selection of the optimal variant for HPP Bistrica project.

EPCG’s CEO Nikola Rovcanin said that HPP Krusevo represents a very important project for the company, both in terms of expanding its production portfolio and in terms of continued investments in renewable energy.

The value of the signed contract is 219,000 euros and the deadline for its completion is 11 May 2023.
