Greece, Hellenic Energy is preparing to launch 3D seismic surveys at two of its offshore blocks

According to Andreas Siamisis, CEO of Helleniq Energy (former Hellenic Petroleum), the company is preparing to launch 3D seismic surveys at two of its offshore blocks – block 10 in the Gulf of Kyparissia and a block in the Ionian Sea.

The company has completed 2D surveys of the two block in February. The decision to proceed with 3D surveying is a clear indication of the blocks’ potential. Siamisis said that the company is actively seeking to establish partnerships for these blocks.

Helleniq Energy holds full exploration and exploitation rights for both blocks.
