Hungary: Solar capacity reached 5,200 MW

Solar power capacity in Hungary exceeded 5,200 MW, according to the Hungarian Ministry of Energy.

Data published by electricity transmission system operator MAVIR showed that the combined capacity of solar power plants in Hungary has reached 3,124 MW, while home solar panel capacity stands at 2,080 MW.

In 2023, an additional 1,187 MW has been added to the solar power capacity, more than during all of last year.
