Hungary: MVM Energy trading gets electricity supply deal for HU National asset management

Hungarian National Asset Management (MNV) completed 6 billion EUR worth selection process of this year’s electricity supplier. They will save more than 250 MEUR on the energy bills.

Company for Asset Management says in the press release that the feasibility of joint procurements will terminate cooperation with companies in the state property. The result will be saving more than 860 million euros for public companies.

The choice of electricity supplier for MNV was launched last fall, by the method of open tender. Three energy companies have submitted their offers, and the best bidder was MVM Partner Energy Trading.
