Hungary: Day-ahead gas price decreased to 28 euros per MWh on Sunday

The average weighted price of natural gas on the day-ahead market of the Hungarian gas exchange CEEGEX on Sunday, October 8 amounted to 28.02 euros per MWh. During the working week spot gas prices ranged from 26.6 to 35.3 euros per MWh.

On the CEEGEX within-day market, the last transactions were recorded on October 8 and the price reached just below 36 euros per MWh.

October futures on the TTF exchange decreased by 0.6% on Friday to 38 euros per MWh, while the price for the first quarter of 2024 was 45.055 euros per MWh. CAL 24 reached 44.9 euros per MWh.
