The Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) set a new daily trading record on its intraday market segment using the continuous trading mechanism for the delivery day of 21 May 2025.
A total of 22,546.78 megawatt-hours (MWh) were traded, marking a new high. Of this amount, 17,547 MWh were exchanged through 60-minute products, while 4,999.78 MWh were traded in 15-minute products.
This surpasses the previous record of 20,603.85 MWh set for the delivery day of 25 June 2024.
