The annual maintenance of unit 6 of the nuclear power plant Kozloduy was completed on November 16. After an inspection by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency, unit 6 was brought back online on 16 November.
The planned annual maintenance of the unit’s system, which started on 9 October, was carried out successfully in connection with the long-term operation and improving security levels. The reactor was restocked with fresh nuclear fuel.
In line with technological rules, the unit is switched back gradually to reaching full capacity.
