BiH: Vjetroelektrane Cardakov plans to build a 50 MW wind farm

Company Vjetroelektrane Cardakov decided to build a wind power plant on Vlasic mountain in Travnik. The company said that there are no buildings at the location that could affect the position of the wind park.

The concession area for the wind farm anticipates road and energy infrastructure and is located on Vlasic mountain. The measurement campaign to determine the wind potential at the mentioned location represents the main precondition and the first step toward the development and construction of the wind park.

The aim of the project is the production of electricity for the needs of the BiH electricity system, as stated in the request for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study.

The general aim of the project is to increase the use of renewable energy sources in the energy mix of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
