Albania: Albpetrol reports 1.9% increase in oil production for 2024

Albpetrol, Albania’s state-owned oil company, reported a total oil production of 70,248 tons in 2024, marking a 1.9% increase from the previous year. The Gorisht-Kocul carbonate oil field remained the largest contributor, producing 32,478 tons in 2024, though this represented a slight decline from 32,902 tons in 2023.

Following this, the Kucove oil sands yielded 15,950 tons, while the Cakran-Mollaj carbonate limestone reservoir produced 14,090 tons. Additionally, the Ammonia well, part of the Amonica-Kocul-Selenica field, generated 3,218 tons of oil, and the Patos well in the Patos-Marinza field contributed 4,147 tons in 2024.
