Romania: Nordex to deliver 30 MW of wind turbines

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex will supply and install equipment for a 30 MW wind project in Romania, the company said in a statement. Nordex did not specify a client, who requested the name of the project to be kept under wraps.

According to the deal, Nordex will deliver five of its N149/5.X turbines and install them at the location in 2024. The 5.9 MW turbines will be mounted on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 125 meters at a location in southeastern Romania.

The agreement also includes a 20-year premium for service maintenance.
