The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has introduced a new framework for natural gas pricing, effective from April 1. The Federal Government’s decision sets the wholesale price for distribution companies at approximately 441 euros per 1,000 cubic meters, excluding VAT.
This revision follows a request from the importer Energoinvest, which sought a moderate increase in supply prices. The newly approved price reflects a 4.59% increase from the previous rate of around 422 euros per 1,000 cubic meters.
Officials attributed this adjustment to fluctuations in international markets, particularly referencing updates from Gazprom Export, which also reported a 4.59% rise in its pricing coefficient for the forthcoming quarter.
Despite ongoing volatility in European energy markets during early 2026, end-user prices in FBiH have remained stable. Authorities noted that this recent adjustment is a limited correction, ensuring that gas prices stay below those observed in other parts of Europe.
