New 10 small hydro power plants in Kraljevo

The construction of ten new small hydro power plants in total net power of 1MW will start this summer. The shpp will be located on rivers Studenica and Ibar.

The construction works will be done by Eling engineering from Teslic, Bosnia.

According to the Kraljevo mayor press statement the location permits for this projects are issued, the value of the project is 20mil euros.

Eling manager Dragan Malic expects the construction permits to be issued soon as well, in order to start first small hydro power plant in village of Mlanca.

The plants will have no accumulation lakes and will not affect the environment.

Kraljevo municipality expects new jobs and engagement of local companies in construction of the plants.
