Montenegro: CGES recorded an 18.2 million euro profit in H1

Electricity transmission system operator CGES recorded a net profit of 18.2 million euros in the first six months of 2023, compared to the 10.7 million euros net profit recorded in the same period in 2022.

Net sales reached 57 million euro, 6% more compared to the same period in 2022. Operating expenses dropped by 18%, to 31.1 million euros. The purchase cost of goods sold amounted to 23.4 million euros, while salaries, benefits and other personnel expenses amounted to 3.25 million euros.

Total assets of CGES increased by 10.5% compared to the end of 2022 and amounted to 349 million euros at the end of June 2023.
