Construction permit for terminal at Tisovita-Dubova
Romanian distributor JT Grup Oil has obtained a construction permit for a petroleum-products terminal near Orsova, extending its logistics network from the Black Sea to the Danube. The planned site is located at the Tisovita-Dubova port in Mehedinti county. The project includes four above-ground liquid-fuel tanks, along with the supporting equipment and infrastructure needed for storage and terminal operations.
The company is positioning the new Danube-linked facility to connect the Danube corridor with its existing operations on the Black Sea. The two locations are intended to support deliveries within Romania and to regional markets including Serbia, Hungary, Austria and Ukraine.
Constanta terminal commissioning ahead of October start
The permit is issued as JT Grup Oil prepares to commission its new Constanta terminal. Technological testing has been completed, and commercial operations are scheduled to begin in October. The Constanta project received an investment of approximately EUR 29.5 million.
Construction of the Constanta terminal started before JT Grup Oil’s initial public offering in the summer of 2024. With terminals operating on both waterways, the company plans to increase the use of maritime and river transport within its fuel-logistics network across Central and Eastern Europe.
