Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, announced a significant milestone in the expansion of the Paks nuclear power plant with the successful completion of soil stabilization beneath the nuclear island of unit 5.
Minister Szijjarto emphasized that recent energy policy challenges underscore the importance of countries generating their own energy. He called for an acceleration in the construction of the two new units at Paks, stressing that Hungary’s priority is to expedite this critical project.
