Greek oil refiner Hellenic Petroleum (ELPE) is expected to change its name to HELLENiQ Energy Holdings after the next shareholders’ General Assembly scheduled for 20 September.
The company’s management state that the iQ part is indicative of the smart transition to the future and the “energy” denotes the company’s plan to expand its energy activities beyond oil refining, to the full spectrum of energy services, with a new emphasis on environmentally friendly sources.
