The Croatian electricity transmission system operator, HOPS, has initiated an auction aimed at securing electricity for the year 2027. This procurement is specifically designed to address transmission system losses, a critical aspect of maintaining grid stability and efficiency. The auction will utilize the CROPEX trading platform, which serves as a key marketplace for electricity transactions in the region.
This auction will focus on acquiring electricity with a delivery schedule set from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027. Participants can expect a consistent delivery profile of 5 MWh/h every day, ensuring a total supply of 43,800 MWh over the course of the year, covering all days of the week.
The event is scheduled for 19 May between 11:00 and 12:00 CET, providing a defined timeframe for market participants to engage in this significant procurement process.
