Bulgaria: KEVR approved wholesale gas price for July

Bulgarian Commission for Energy and Water Regulation approved an 8% decrease in wholesale natural gas prices for July 2023, as proposed by supplier Bulgargaz. Gas price decreased to 31 euros/MWh, excluding VAT and excise duty.

Previously, KEVR approved a 15% decrease in wholesale natural gas prices for June.

The price mix for July includes the entire contracted quantity of Azeri natural gas supplied via the Bulgaria-Greece interconnection (IGB), under the existing long-term contract with Azerbaijan. These volumes cover 72% of consumption for the month.
